Why Outsource

Those that have not previously used outsourcing as a way to enhance their service delivery models, often wonder about its benefits. Utilizing legal outsourcing means cost-savings to your organization. However, this is not the only benefit. For law firms and corporate in-house counsel, outsourcing is a means of ensuring higher efficiency and better quality service, either for clients or for the organization itself. Outsourcing some non-core functions in your organization allows you to allocate more resources to core competencies and provide a higher level of service to your clients at a reduced cost.

For example in the law firm context, administrative services such as document coding, legal transcription, word processing or data entry are not considered core functions but instead are necessary support functions that must be handled consistently in order to run a successful law firm. Most firms will hire non-attorneys to handle these tasks or assign the work to junior associates. This often creates two immediate problems for the firm; namely, bottlenecks created by a shortage of qualified and competent paralegals, and increased expenses resulting from utilizing junior associates for basic support tasks while salaries continue to increase. To remain competitive in the marketplace and eliminate the headaches of dealing with personnel attrition and constant hiring, law firms should look to EZEN LPO’s outsourcing services.

When utilizing our services, the law firm or general counsel’s office are able to achieve cost reductions and will also improve their efficiency by focusing on their core work without needing to expend resources on hiring, training and retaining non-essential personnel.
